Mansur Sarsembayev

Mansur Sarsembayev is a screenwriter and film director from Kazakhstan. He has been
actively working in the film industry since 2018. He is the recipient of numerous
international awards for screenwriting and is a laureate of Kazakhstan’s prestigious Altyn
Kalam Award 2020 for Best Screenplay and Dramaturgy of the Year.

He worked as a screenwriter on the Russian television series “Knockoffs” (2023). He directed the short film “Late Session” (2019) and the animated film “Where Does the Heart Call?” (2018)
